Treks at Tamarind Jungle Camp
1. Hill and Rocks Behind the Camp Trek.

As you enter the Tamarind Jungle Camp gate, you shall be facing a hill with several rocks on the hill. This is also the south side as the camp faces north more or less.

This trek starts from behind the camp - Usually the south west corner.

Total trek time with about 20 minutes on top of the hill would be approx. 1 1/2 hour.

2. Temple and Well trek.

If you are coming from Vepanpalli to the camp, this trek starts much after you cross Konganpalli village but some distance before the camp.

At the start of the trek, there is a rock with WLS painted on it as the Wildlife survey goes on this trek when ding it's surveys. This is a nice trek with a relatively broad path, gaining some elevation and culminating at an old though small temple.

The trail head is approx 10-15 minute walk from the camp and would come on ypur right side when walking from the camp towards Konganapalli.

Total trek time out and back - Approx 2 hours.

3. The shallow lake and boulder trek.

The starting point for this trek can be reached only with the help of a person who has been there before. You have to drive from the camp towards Konganapalli and somewhere between the camp and Konganapalli, once the fields start, you have park and then walk across the fields on the left to reach the rocks behind and then the trail appears that takes you to a shallow lake and then further on to a huge banyan tree and then further on to huge boulders!
